A new paper by Assistant Professor of Economics Dong Cheng, coauthored with Nam T. Vu, examines how the costs and frictions involved in moving goods from producers to consumers affect the transmission of monetary policy. The paper, “State-Dependent Distribution Friction and the Transmission of Monetary Policy,” has been published in the European Economic Review.

W. Bradford Wiley Chair in International Economics and Associate Professor Rishi Sharma has contributed an entry to the newly published Elgar Encyclopedia of International Trade examining how domestic tax policies affect international trade and firms’ global decisions.
